InsSciDE Open Conference - Science diplomacy, diversity and the Global South

On 22, 23, and 24 de March, the third Open Conference of the Horizon 2020 project InsSciDE - Science diplomacy, diversity and the Global South, hosted in Lisbon, Portugal.
The InsSciDE project (Inventing a shared Science Diplomacy for Europe) is centred on research into the history of science diplomacy, which informs the development of training resources, policy recommendations and frameworks for European science diplomacy theory and strategy.
PARSUK was present on the second day of the conference in the panel "New Actors and a New Definition of Science Diplomacy".
"We are delighted to be part of the new actors of Science Diplomacy," said the ex-President of PARSUK, Luís Miguel Lacerda.
This session discussed the way informal channels allow civil society, NGOs, minorities, and under-represented groups to engage in building different science diplomacy narratives.
